Do you wake up tired? The cause may be Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). OSA is estimated to affect about 24% to 31% of men and 9% to 21% of women. OSA is caused by a narrowing or obstructing of the airway so that breathing is diminished or interrupted. Sleepers during OSA incidents don't always wake up, but sleep can be light or restless. Contributors to an OSA condition are obesity, deviated symptom and high blood pressure.
