Between 6 and 7 million Americans have had flu so far this season, the CDC reports. Between 69,000 and 84,000 people have been hospitalized for flu-related illness. The states with high flu activity include: Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The CDC says 19 children have died related to flu this season. The flu season is expected to last through March.
